The Union is compelled to address a troubling communication from CEO Darren Entwistle that was sent on September 24th.
Telus is now requesting that our members restrict their mobile data usage to free up network traffic for other customers— another absurd move by an employer with little respect for working people.

After 15 years of relentless advocacy and solidarity, Bill C-58, the federal anti-scab legislation, has passed its third reading and cleared its final hurdle in the House of Commons.
The Raising the Bar project was initiated from discussions at unit meetings on Vancouver Island and in the Interior of British Columbia. Women of the Craft shared their experiences and challenges, sparking immediate action from our leadership. President Donna Hokiro, having attended these meetings, recognized the urgency of these issues.
As previously mentioned, the election for USW Local 1944 Local Union Officers and Unit Officials for 2024 is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 23rd, through electronic ballot.
