TELUS, Your Story: Part 1 – Telecom Regulators

Hello members,

Telus’ recent out-of-province redeployment for about 150 members and manipulative Work-From-Office announcements for about 1,000 members have made more clear than ever: Only public and government pressure will force Telus to become a fair employer. We need to work together to create this pressure and cause Telus to reverse these unethical actions.

And so, starting today, your Union is launching a multi-part campaign where members will be able to share their personal stories about their experiences at Telus – whatever they may be - on a massive scale with the Canadian public and government.

This “TELUS Your Story” campaign will be rolled out step-by-step every few days.

Part 1 will focus on members telling their stories to Canadian telecommunication industry regulators, branches of government that are in charge of making sure that companies like Telus act in the best interests of the public. You know that Telus doesn’t act in the best interests of Canadians, so let’s speak truth to power and bring government attention to Telus’ actions!

Please find a list of targets here, complete with guidelines on how to fight back by telling the truth about Telus to these regulators.

Your participation in this initiative is critical, Telus must be held accountable.

Stay tuned for Part 2 where you’ll have the opportunity to tell your story directly to Canadians, to be released in the next day or two.

In Strength and Solidarity,
