Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024, members of the USW Local 1944 will be electing the Local Union Officers and Unit Officials.
 
The vote will be occurring between the hours of 5:00 am and 8:00 pm (Pacific Time).
 
This will be a secret ballot electronic vote and your vote will remain confidential.
 

Raising the Bar - Women of the Craft Speak Out

Women of the Craft shared their experiences and challenges, sparking immediate action from our leadership. 2024 Local Union Delegated Meeting – Day 3

Thursday, the final day of our Local Union Delegated Meeting, began with reports from the Women of Steel Committee, the NextGen Committee, the Civil and Human Rights Committee and the Political Action Committee.

2024 Local Union Delegated Meeting – Day 2

Day 2 of our Local Union Delegated Meeting kicked off in Montreal Wednesday with the Resolutions Committee addressing the delegates.
 
The Resolutions Committee received 16 resolutions from 8 different units and one recommendation from the Executive Board for a total of 17 resolutions.
