As previously mentioned, the election for USW Local 1944 Local Union Officers and Unit Officials for 2024 is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 23rd, through electronic ballot.
Nominations were held during the Unit Meetings in March, and have since been reviewed by the rank-and-file Election Committee (Tellers) to confirm eligibility. The official list of nominees is available to view here.
Eligible members have been sent a voting package by mail, which should arrive in the coming days, and which includes a unique PIN. A sample of what to expect in the voting package is available here, however, please note that positions for which a candidate has been acclaimed will not appear on the final ballot.
The voting window is set for Tuesday, April 23rd, from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm (Pacific Time). Ensure to follow the directions provided in your voting package closely.
