Voter HelpLine opens on Monday for the Election of Local Union Officers and Unit Officials 2018

April 13, 2018 - Over the past week, USW Local 1944 members should have received a package containing voting instructions and a unique PIN for the upcoming Election of Local Union Officers and Unit Officials 2018 on April 19th.

This vote will determine the new Executive Board of USW Local 1944 and the leadership of our Units. A sample voting package can be viewed here.

Packages were delivered to Canada Post on Wednesday, April 4th and can take up to 10 days to be delivered across Canada. If you have not received your voting package and are eligible to vote, please call the Voter HelpLine for assistance. The staff at the Voter HelpLine will verify your identity and provide you with a new PIN.

  • Monday, April 16 from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (PT)
  • Tuesday, April 17 from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (PT)
  • Wednesday, April 18 from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (PT)
  • Thursday, April 19 from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm (PT)

Voting will take place on Thursday, April 19th between 5:00 am and 8:00 pm (Pacific Time). Please follow the instructions in your voting package.
