October 31, 2017 - The USW Local 1944 Bylaw Ratification vote for 2017 will be occurring on November 21st by electronic ballot, between the hours of 5:00 am and 5:00 pm (Pacific Time).

Members will be receiving more information on this vote in the coming weeks, however, members should be aware that, in an effort to save on postage costs, the several pages of proposed Bylaw language will not be included in the voting package that members will receive in the mail. Rather, this language is available now on our website at www.usw1944.ca/en/2017bylawratification.

Members should familiarize themselves with the six proposals for Bylaw change in advance of voting day. 

Please read through these proposals carefully as each eligible voting member is responsible for choosing the Bylaws that govern our Local.
