August 27, 2018 - On Monday, September 3, 2018, USW Local 1944 will be participating in the Vancouver “Labour Day at the PNE” rally, organized by the Vancouver and District Labour Council. It will take place in the Pacific Coliseum, within the PNE grounds. Members must purchase a wristband online to gain entry to the Pacific Coliseum, and this wristband will also get you a discounted entrance to the PNE grounds after the rally.

Please note that only participants in the rally can obtain these wristbands for discounted entry, and all wristbands must be picked up before the rally which begins at 10:00 am.

This year, the organization for Labour Day is a bit different, so we ask our members to read carefully the information below.

WRISTBANDS: To gain access to Vancouver Labour Day at the PNE, a wristband will be required. Members will need to purchase a scan code online at http://1944.fyi/LD-PNE2018. All wristbands must be picked up before the RALLY (see below), by bringing your scan code to the PNE to Gate 6 off Renfrew Street (back of the Pacific Coliseum), from 8:30 am to 10:00 am.

CHILDREN: The entrance for children 13 years and under is free.

COLISEUM RALLY: The Rally starts at 10:00 am and ends at 11:00 am.

ACTIVITIES: Vancouver Labour Day offers access to the PNE, as well as to a private picnic area, and a community-partner booth zone. Our Local also has a reserved area at the Super Dogs show.
