October 18, 2017 - This year, the United Steelworkers District 5 will be holding its 53rd Annual Assembly at Hôtel Delta, in Sherbrooke, QC, from November 22, 2017, 2:00 pm, until November 24, 2017, 12:00 noon.

The annual assembly will include conferences, a meeting for new delegate orientation, a Women of Steel meeting, and a banquet.

USW Local 1944 will be sending up to four members from District 5 in Quebec, both experienced and new activists, to attend the annual assembly.

This will be a great opportunity to learn about your district’s current affairs, share experiences, and take part in the building of your union.
