April 18, 2017 - With less than three weeks to go before election day, we need your help more than ever to push for a better BC and elect the BC NDP on May 9th.

This is an important election for British Columbians, who cannot afford another four years under Christy Clark and the BC Liberals. Under the BC Liberals we have witnessed the growing inequity between the rich and the poor and a gutting of the middle class.

As Christy Clark and the BC Liberals have continued to cater to her wealthy donors, John Horgan and the BC NDP have been fighting to try to get a better deal for British Columbians, which is why the United Steelworkers and the BC Federation of Labour have endorsed them. The BC NDP wants to make y our life more affordable, improve the public services we count on, and create good sustainable jobs.

It is time for us to mobilize to help effect change. You can help by donating, volunteering, or attending events in support of the BC NDP. Attached is a list of labour canvasses with the BC Fed in coming days, members are encouraged to participate on your own time.

Most importantly, make sure to get out and vote! We know that electing labour friendly governments are one of the most effective ways to help support workers’ rights. So, make sure that you, your friends, and your family make a plan to vote early or on May 9th!
