May 9, 2022 - The bargaining process can take a while and to help understand it, we have attached an infographic that outlines the overall process. We will send out intermittent updates to this chart thru your Unit’s communication teams as we move along the process.
While we have not exchanged our bargaining packages yet, that is scheduled on June 13th, 2022. When our two committees met, the Union expressly stated that we would sign a Letter of Agreement to get the performance bonuses that they have chosen to withhold from you. There has been no response from the employer on this to date.
We have also heard that there are managers attempting to persuade you to answer their Pulsecheck surveys in a certain fashion. The Union’s position is, and has always been, to answer them with full honesty.
We will continue to provide updates throughout the bargaining process in addition to the chart updates mentioned above.
Your Union committee is resolute in our commitment to work for you to improve your working conditions!
In Solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee
