December 7, 2018 - The deadline to apply to the new District 6 Mentorship Program is Monday, December 31, 2018. This program is meant to increase exchanges between Steelworkers, by pairing up Leaners with Mentors – both are volunteer roles.

Rescheduled Shop Steward Level 1 courses in Montreal and Rimouski now open for registration

December 4, 2018 - The USW is pleased to work with Local 1944 to offer Shop Steward Level 1 courses in Montreal and Rimouski. The rescheduled Montreal course will now be held March 25–26, 2019 and the rescheduled Rimouski course will be held March 28–29, 2019.
