Hello members,

As mentioned in Telus Bargaining Update #5, talks between the Bargaining Committee and Company have evolved to include discussion of what both parties would like to see in a new Collective Agreement. Following your priorities as expressed in your Bargaining Survey, your Union is prioritizing job security and stability in the workplace as key goals.

These negotiations continue to be very productive and are developing quickly. Your Bargaining Committee is encouraged by a much different tone at the table from the Company compared to previous bargaining rounds. Talks remain focused on the key issues that both parties are bringing to the negotiating table.

Draft Collective Agreement language is being exchanged in an effort to determine whether a mutually productive Tentative Agreement can be reached in an efficient manner that meets the key needs of both the company and the membership.

As always, we will keep you updated as negotiations continue.

In Solidarity,
