Telus Bargaining Update #5

Hello members,

As mentioned in Telus Bargaining Update #4, discussions have been occurring between the Bargaining Committee and the Company, focused on improving our relationship and creating a foundation for constructive dialogue leading up to collective bargaining. 

These discussions have made significant progress in a relatively short time, and the subject matter of these meetings has now developed to include a discussion of what the Union and Company would like to see included in the next Collective Agreement, so as to put the parties on a path to a more stable and mutually beneficial ongoing relationship.

Following the guidance you provided in your Bargaining Survey, your Bargaining Committee is prioritizing moving toward a Collective Agreement with improved job security, and improved stability in the workplace. 

We will keep you updated as these important discussions continue.
