Week in Review: October 6th – October 13th 2025

Raises at Telus – Virtually all Telus members should have received their annual wage increase October 1st, however we’ve heard of a small number of discrepancies. Check your pay stub and your Collective Agreement to make sure that you’re being paid the correct amount, and if not, email us at contact@usw1944.ca or find your steward using the Digital Union Board.

Digital Union Board – In case you weren’t aware, the Local has a Digital Union Board which provides some of the latest information that would be on a physical Union Board, including Collective Agreements, your Unit’s shop stewards and meeting schedule, Committee application instructions and more.

Steward Training – This past week we completed Basic Steward Training for 14 new stewards, and each one has confirmed that they will be starting to represent members right away. If you want to sign up to represent your coworkers in Investigative Meetings and Grievances sign up here and once we have enough sign-ups, we’ll run another class.
