$250 Well-being Restriction – Telus decided to try to squeeze another drop of Telus internet market share by adding a restriction to the At Home Agent $250 Wellbeing Account top-up amount, now requiring you to have Telus or Koodo internet services to receive the money (and to do this right before PulseCheck). Telus has said this will commence during the next benefits year beginning March 1, 2026, but you must switch to Telus services prior to January 9, in time to fill out the attestation form. The Union is reviewing its options for trying to reverse the company’s decision.

PulseCheck – It’s PulseCheck time of year, the season for honesty. The Local’s advice is always to fully participate and to be very direct and honest regarding your scorings and your comments, to give management and upper management a crystal clear picture of what the experience is on the front lines.

Union Time Off – You’ll occasionally hear about your coworkers attending Union training, conferences or committee work. Please be aware that you don’t have to suffer any financial loss to participate in these events. Any work time missed for Union training, conferences or committee work is still paid to you on your paycheque, and the Union pays the company back for your wages.

 In Solidarity,
