Telus Bargaining Update #17 - Union Suspends Bargaining to Seek a Mandate - September 27, 2022

Your Bargaining Committee is committed to transparency. That is why we have chosen to briefly suspend bargaining and have advised Telus that we are taking the next steps to meet with our members. Your Bargaining Committee believes it has reached a point in negotiations that we feel it is incumbent upon us to talk directly with you, and to seek from you a clear and decisive Strike Mandate Vote that will show Telus we are not backing down!

In the next day or so, your Union will be reaching out to you to advise of the meeting times in your region. These meetings will be held via Zoom.

You have demanded to know more about the concessions that Telus is trying to impose. We want to explain how unrealistic and extremely out of touch the Company continues to be.

Your Union recognizes the efforts and the sacrifices you made during this collective agreement. Telus needs to hear loud and clear that our members demand better! You and your families deserve better!

We look forward to meeting with you and taking back to the bargaining table a strong Strike Mandate to advise Telus they must do better!
