Your bargaining committee met today with the Employer and we continue to push for a strong first contract for our members at Securitas Technology. In our latest bargaining sessions, we tabled critical language designed to protect your jobs and the future of your work. This includes provisions on vacation entitlements, defined hours of work, overtime, and job security in the face of AI or technological change.

We also had extensive discussions with the company regarding subcontracting. Our focus remains clear, ensuring that the work stays with you, now and in the future.

We are actively working to secure more bargaining dates and are hopeful to reach agreements on these foundational protections. Soon, we expect to begin discussions on overall compensation.
