Keewatin Air Bargaining Update #4

Hello Keewatin Air members,

Your bargaining committee; Dayna, Shawn, Sara, Jayson and Steve spent yesterday in continued bargaining with the Company. We’ve discussed and tabled proposals for:

• shift rotations 

• base preferences

• fatigue management policy 

• overtime

• scheduling and hours

We have made some progress with the Company for seniority, union representation, discipline procedures, employee equity language, and training. 

Our next bargaining date will be June 2nd to continue discussions and working towards a collective agreement.

The Union also sent out our swag packages to its members today and you should be receiving them in the mail shortly. Included in the package will be some instructions on how to show your support for your Bargaining Committee! Please reach out if you do not receive your package by May 15th. If you haven't signed up for your solidarity package you can do so here.

In the upcoming months until shop stewards can be appointed please continue to reach out to Jayson and Steve in regards to union representation when management meetings are requested or for further guidance on possible union concerns.
