Keewatin Air Bargaining Update #1

Hello Keewatin Air members,

Your Committee, Sara, Dayna, Shawn, along with Local Union Rep Steve McWhirter and Staff Rep Jayson Little, met in Winnipeg this week to begin our journey in negotiating your first Collective Agreement.  

We started by reviewing the USW Bargaining to Win course, the completed bargaining surveys, reviewed comparative collective agreements and started working together on the framework for what we would like to have in our Collective Agreement. 

Next steps will be to align on bargaining dates with the Employer and begin negotiations. We will let you know once we have secured dates. 

We are happy to announce our bargaining slogan as chosen by your committee. “We fly critical missions – Treat us like it”
