Reminder: USW Local 1944 Annual Scholarships Application Deadline – August 1

July 11, 2018 - USW Local 1944 members have 21 days left to send their applications for USW Local 1944's Annual Scholarships. 

The application deadline is Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
 
To assist with post-secondary education costs, three scholarships of $750 and four scholarships of $1,000 are available to all members' children who meet the following eligibility requirements:

- Applicant must be a child of an active member of USW Local 1944;
- Applicant must be graduating from Grade 12;
- Applicant must be registering for courses at a public post-secondary institution.

Applicants should complete the following three requirements:

- Complete the application form;
- Submit an updated transcript;
- Submit a letter of reference from a teacher or an employer.
