Payroll Arbitration Update

Hello Members,

The Arbitrator has issued a decision on the Union’s preliminary request for an independent audit of company payroll information. While the Union’s request for an independent audit was not granted at this stage of the proceedings, the Arbitrator did confirm the importance of robust ongoing disclosure of payroll information in this matter. 

The case is continuing forward. Hearing dates have been scheduled for February 2027 to deal with the grievance, and the Union is continuing to work through outstanding disclosure issues with the Employer to ensure all relevant information is produced before the hearing. 

Your Union remains fully committed to pursuing this grievance vigorously and holding the Employer accountable throughout the process. We will continue to keep members informed as new developments arise. 



If you are currently experiencing an ongoing payroll issue, continue reporting and following up with management and payroll until the matter is corrected. Members should not have to chase their wages or wait indefinitely for resolution.
