Payroll Arbitration Update

Hello Members,

On November 21, 2025, the Union advised members that the second arbitrator assigned to this file had resigned for personal reasons. 

We are pleased to report that a new arbitrator has now been mutually agreed upon and formally appointed. A meeting has taken place, and the arbitrator has picked up the matter where it left off. She is currently reviewing the Union’s interim relief application, which seeks a third-party audit. 

Given the volume and complexity of the information exchanged to date, this review remains time-intensive. That said, the arbitrator has indicated she will provide a ruling as soon as practicable. 

We will continue to keep the membership informed of any further developments.
