Payroll Arbitration Update

Hello Members,

For some time, the Union has been advocating for interim relief in the form of an external audit of Telus’ systems related to the ongoing payroll catastrophe. The Union continues to maintain that accurate data is essential to a fair hearing on this issue, and that this can only come in the form of an audit. An audit is also critical to stop the ongoing harm being inflicted on our membership.

Regarding this initial issue, all written submissions have been completed by the Union and the Company, and placed before the arbitrator. We are now awaiting a decision, and will provide an update as soon as one becomes available.

In the meantime, if you are experiencing new payroll issues, please:

1 - Complete the following reporting form so that we can track and respond to problems as they arise:

2 - Reach out to your shop steward to file a grievance to ensure your issue is

properly documented and advanced.
