International Women’s Conference

The USW International Women's Conference is back this year in Toronto! The upcoming 2026 Conference: "Women of Steel – Education for a New Era," happening in Toronto, is an opportunity for Women of Steel to come together and continue building alliances. As a union that prides itself on leading the way in supporting workers worldwide, we are excited to bring you this enriching conference focused on building skills, fostering global solidarity, and strengthening the labour movement.
Conference Details:
Date: March 29 - April 2, 2026
Location: Sheraton Centre Hotel, Toronto
Arrival: Plan to arrive on Sunday, March 29, or early Monday, March 30, for registration, exhibits, and District Delegates' Meetings.
Conclusion: The conference will conclude by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, with return flights recommended after 3:00 p.m. to ensure full participation.

To apply for this opportunity, please submit your application before the deadline of, Monday, January 12th, 2026 at 4:30 pm Pacific Time.
Be mindful that this opportunity comes with responsibility. Participating in all core conference activities is mandatory. Attending the International Women’s Conference is our Local’s opportunity to show the kind of passion and commitment that we are known for. In addition, all attendees will be required to provide a written report on their experience and what they learned and how that will translate into helping your unit and the Local following the conference.
