Has your child applied yet for USW Local 1944’s 2021 Scholarships?

June 30, 2021 - Members’ children graduating from high school and registering in any post-secondary public institution have one month left to submit their application and seize the financial opportunity of a USW Local 1944 scholarship! There are 3 scholarships of $750 and 4 scholarships of $1,000.

Application deadline: Sunday, August 1, 2021

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a child of an active member of USW Local 1944;
  • Graduate from high school in 2021;
  • Register for courses at a public post-secondary institution. 

Applicants must complete the application form, submit their Grade 12 transcripts or a copy of their latest Grade 12 report card, and a letter of reference from a teacher or an employer.
