Hello Members,

We have some updates to announce regarding changes to our Executive Board.

Corey Mandryk has vacated his position as Trustee after being hired into the Union office. As a result, your Executive Board passed a motion to select Neil Marshall to move from his role as Regional Executive Officer (REO) of BC into this vacant Trustee role.

Furthermore, the Executive Board has selected Wallace Koopmans to move into this newly-vacated REO BC position. Wallace has been a shop steward since 2003 and has served on the Unit 60 Executive in a variety of positions since then, including Unit Vice-Chair, and Unit Councillor. He also served on three bargaining committees for Shaw/Rogers negotiations, and was instrumental in helping conduct our successful 2023 lockout at Rogers.

We are looking forward to having Wallace as part of our Executive Board and are excited that he will bring his diverse skills to this role.
