Hello members,

The Alberta Federation of Labour is looking forward to welcoming Local 1944 delegates to it's 54th Constitutional Convention. This year’s theme is Pushing the Workers Agenda.

The convention will be held in-person from Thursday, April 24, 2025 to Sunday, April 27, 2025 in Edmonton. Delegates must be able to attend all 4 days of the Convention. You will get UTO for all scheduled shifts, during the convention hours and will need to attend on your own time, if you have a scheduled day off.  

Convention Details: 

• Date: Thursday, April 25, 2025, to Sunday, April 27, 2025, with a travel day on Wednesday, April 24
• Location: The Edmonton Expo Centre located at 7515-118 Ave NW (Entrance 5), Edmonton, Alberta
