Once again this year, the Alberta Federation of Labour (AFL), in collaboration with the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC), will host students from across Alberta at their Winter School. The event is set to take place at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge from January 7 to 12, 2024.
USW Local 1944 is inviting its members to apply for attendance. Please note that only a select few will be chosen.
The Winter School will cover various compelling subjects, including Collective Bargaining, Conflict Management, Labour History, Supporting Indigenous Peoples, and more.
If you wish to participate in the CLC Winter School, the deadline for submitting your application is December 8, 2023, at 4:00 PM PST.
