March 23, 2022 - Tomorrow, Thursday, March 24 is the 2022 Local By-Law Ratification Vote regarding two proposed amendments to the USW Local 1944 By-Laws that were approved by delegates at last year’s Local Union Delegated Meeting. These proposals were explained in a previous hotline and can be found here.
Over the past two weeks, USW Local 1944 members should have received a package containing voting instructions and a unique PIN for this ratification. A sample voting package can be viewed here.
If you have not received your voting package and are eligible to vote, please call the Voter HelpLine for assistance. The staff at the Voter HelpLine will verify your identity and provide you with a new PIN.
The Voter HelpLine can be reached at 1-888-281-8683 during the following hours:
- March 23 from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (PT)
- March 24 from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm (PT)
Voting will take place on Thursday, March 24 between 5:00 am and 8:00 pm (Pacific Time). Please note that the PIN letters sent out included a voting end time of 5:00 pm (Pacific Time) in error.
