Hello Members,

As mentioned in Bargaining Update #33, Local 1944 is ramping up our activities and campaigns across the country throughout February seeking to conclude a fair Agreement for you, and so we decided to lead off with a video recapping how far we’ve come as a membership in the past year. Take a look:

Every weekend this month will see greater practice picketing throughout the country, so ask your Unit Executive (or email contact@usw1944.ca) to learn when an opportunity will turn up in your area.

Your Bargaining Committee has been hard at work this week phoning members to ensure that we continue the momentum to gain more involvement and support for saying “No” to Company concessions.

And next week we will be communicating to you about new ways that YOU, and every member, can join the fight and take action personally to help achieve a fair Collective Agreement.

We are the ones that make Telus’ operations run, we will not be stopped by greed or intimidation, we are Rising UP.
