This June/July issue of the magazine is longer than usual, it is filled with pictures from your Unit meetings, health and safety recommendations in hot weather, and more stories and news from our members and Union. 

In this issue, President Donna Hokiro reflects on the first peoples’ genocide and on how telling its story can lead to reconciliation. 

Members who attended the Canadian Labour Congress’ 29th Constitutional Convention came back to their workplaces energized and motivated to fight for working people; they share their experiences. 

A reminder that these are the last days to apply for the 2021 USW Local 1944 Scholarships! The deadline is August 1st, 2021, so members’ children who are eligible should send their application now! Information and application here.
